What did winning the 2024 RFK Education Award mean to you?
Winning the RFK Award was validation of the work I have done to bring important opportunities to our NYC Scholars.
What's the most fulfilling part of your job?
Fulfilling the ability to expose all students to college and career exploration earlier is priceless. Enabling as many students as possible, year after year, to real, world-wide experiences is crucial to preparing them for real-life work. Allowing students from 9-12 grade to engage with adults is important also.
What are your hopes for this upcoming school year?
This year, I hope we can expand our internship offerings and work to educate and inform more students, parents, and families in this crucial work around immersive career exposure and opportunities, paid and unpaid.
