What did winning the 2024 RFK Education Award mean to you?
Winning the RFK Education award was truly meaningful. Being a principal often places you in a lonely space and place figuratively and literally at times. Therefore, having one's ministry be acknowledged in such a way makes the challenges worthwhile.
What's the most fulfilling part of your job?
The most fulfilling part of my job is seeing at-promise, not at-risk students succeed despite their personal and/or academic challenges.
What are your hopes for this upcoming school year?
My hopes for this upcoming school year is to continue to improve in our restorative practices as a school community in collaboration with all stakeholders.
